The influence of digital literacy on students' independent learning mathematics

Abstrak

This research aims to review the influence of digital literacy on students' independent mathematics learning. Digital literacy is defined as the ability to use digital technology effectively and efficiently to find, evaluate and communicate information. Mathematics learning independence is a student's ability to learn independently and manage their own learning process. The population of this research was class V students at SDN 1 Rancabango Garut, totaling 80 students, then a sample of 30 students was taken using the Simple Random Sampling technique. Through quantitative methods, this research found that digital literacy has a significant positive influence on students' independent mathematics learning. Students who have a high level of digital literacy are more likely to have good independence in learning mathematics, because they can use digital technology to search for information, evaluate and gain a better understanding of mathematical material.
