BELAJAR BERCERITA MELALUI PUPPET BOOK BERSAMA ANAK-ANAK GRIYA YATIM & DHUAFA MENTAOS BERBAGI BANJARBARU

Abstract

Storytelling is one of the interactive teaching and learning activities that can be used as the introduction or even core activities in the learning process. Besides containing the story, messages, and values ​​contained therein, stories, fairy tales can also attract students' interest in learning. Stories can be delivered orally directly by the teacher. In addition, stories can also be told through the help of video or audio media. This Community Service activity aims to provide learning assistance and storytelling by using Puppet Book media with Children at Griya Yatim & Dhuafa Mentaos Berbagi Banjarbaru. Through this activity, participants are expected to be able to have storytelling skills and they can learn the content and values ​​contained in a story. The results showed that a positive response was performed by the participants of this community service during the activity. This is indicated by the existence of a conducive and fun learning interaction. They also gain new knowledge and experience related to the content of the story and storytelling skills in using the Puppet Book which provides stories of animals in the Qur'an, those are the Whale and Prophet Yunus, the female cow who lived during the period of Prophet Moses, and the female camel of the Prophet Sholeh.
