Abstrak

The purpose in this study to determine the ability of the mathematically resolve the matter of PISA in the content quantity on the students’ grade X of SMAN 2 Takalar enabled high, medium, and low. This research is a qualitative study designed to determine the ability of mathematical students in solving PISA on content quantity. The processed Data is the data the ability of students ' mathematical that mathematical reasoning ability, the ability of a mathematical representation, and mathematical problem-solving ability. Data collection techniques used is the administration of the test, and interview. Questions used in the test measure the ability of mathematical is the problems adapted from the PISA which amounts to 3 about. Based on the results of the analysis, it is obtained that a subject with ability third ability mathematically, that mathematical reasoning ability, the ability of a mathematical representation, and mathematical problem-solving ability. The subject with the ability meet the two math proficiency, i.e. the ability of mathematical reasoning, and the ability of the mathematical representation, while the ability of mathematical problem solving has not been met because the Subject with the ability of being able to identify the problems but less able to plan or solve problems and examination. The subject with the ability to only meet one math proficiency, i.e. the ability of mathematical reasoning.
