Abstract

This study aims to develop interactive learning media based on Sparkol Videoscribe software with a Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach in the field of shipping navigation. This study is a Research and Development (R & D) research using the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) method. In testing the results of the media that has been developed using the one-group pretest-posttest design pattern. The data technique uses observation, interview, and questionnaire techniques. The data analysis technique used is descriptive quantitative. The criteria for the quality of a product by Nieveen are used to get good learning tools, namely (1) valid, (2) practical, and (3) effective. The results showed that interactive learning media based on sparkol videoscribe software with the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) model approach in the navigation field that has been developed is valid, practical, and effective to increase the learning motivation of cadets.
