Analysis of Mathematical Creative Thinking Ability in PBL Model Assisted Dynamic Mathematics Software Viewed from Self-Efficacy
Analisis kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis model PBL berbantuan dynamic mathematics software ditinjau dari self-efficacy
Abstrak
The objective underlying the implementation of the research is to describe students' ability to think creatively in mathematics during learning with the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model equipped with Dynamic Mathematics Software (DMS). The subjects of this study were six grade VIII students of MTs Negeri Salatiga who were selected based on their self-efficacy. This research is descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques using tests, interviews, questionnaires, and observation. Data analysis was performed by data collection, data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing or verifying. This study will identify how students meet the indicators of fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. The results from research on high self-efficacy students tend to be able to fulfill all or four indicators of mathematical creative thinking ability. Medium self-efficacy students tend to be able to succeed in only three indicators. Meanwhile, students with low self-efficacy generally can only meet two indicators of mathematical creative thinking ability. Interesting learning such as the application of the PBL model assisted by dynamic mathematics software is able to develop students' mathematical creative thinking abilities from all self-efficacy groups.
