Abstrak

The main objective of this research is to develop a product of textbooks based on mathematical literacy and to determine the effectiveness of developing textbooks based on literacy. The requirements for the validity of this textbook are determined by the appropriateness of the content, presentation, and graphics, while the effectiveness is determined from a positive student response questionnaire and classical learning completeness. This research is a type of Research and Development (R&D) research, while the development of this textbook uses the ADDIE model which stands for Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The product produced in this research is literacy-based mathematics teaching materials for junior high school level with the ADDIE development model. The subjects of this study were the fifteen students of SMP Mutiara Bunda in grade IX. From this research, the product of Persamaan Kuadrat dan Fungsi Kuadrat textbooks for grade IX Junior High Schools that met the results of the content, presentation and graphic feasibility test reached the "very good" criteria with sufficient revisions and the readability test obtained the "very good" criteria without revision. Data on student responses to the use of textbooks met the positive criteria and the learning outcomes test achieved classical completeness. From these results, it can be concluded that the development of textbooks based on mathematical literacy for the material of Persamaan Kuadrat Dan Fungsi Kuadrat meets the valid and effective criteria.
