PENGENALAN CERITA RAKYAT LOKAL MELALUI KEGIATAN LITERASI DI SEKOLAH DASAR
Abstract
This Community Service activity aims to introduce local district folklore through literacy activities in elementary schools where elementary school students in Melawi Regency do not yet know the local folklore of Melawi Regency. This implementation method is carried out by socialization, observation and documentation. The results show that literacy activities using local folklore, in this case Melawi, need to continue to be encouraged. This is because apart from promoting literacy in elementary schools, it can also introduce local folklore to students in schools, especially elementary schools. Melawi Regency elementary school students know and understand local folklore in Melawi Regency. Melawi Regency elementary school students can understand the values found in Melawi Regency folklore. Literacy activities in elementary schools can utilize local folklore in Melawi Regency, so that they can help preserve local folklore.
