PELATIHAN DEBAT BAHASA INDONESIA DI SMAN 2 BANJARMASIN

Speaking skills are one of the language skills included in the productive aspect. The ability to speak is very necessary because it is one of the abilities that sustain the future. Students at SMA Negeri 2 Banjarmasin according to the results of preliminary observations indicate difficulty in mastering speaking skills, especially in the development aspect, one of which is debate. SMA Negeri 2 Banjarmasin also does not have a debate club, so students lack mastery of debate techniques. This condition raises the desire to serve by providing debate training to students at SMA Negeri 2 Banjarmasin. To master the ability to become a debater, in addition to mastering theory, experience sharing and practice are also needed. This service will provide these three aspects so that students can learn thoroughly about debate. The material that will be presented is related to speaking theory and various aspects of becoming a good debater. After that, it will be followed by debate practice. Practical activities will be supervised and recorded, so that students will get feedback to improve their performance as a debater. This service is expected to help students master speaking skills, especially related to debate skills. The output target of this service is the publication of scientific articles in related national journals and videos related to the service that will be registered for Intellectual Property Rights.
