PENDAMPINGAN PEMBUATAN SEDUHAN RIMPANG JAHE DAN KUNYIT PEREDA ISPA SERTA EDUKASI KESTABILAN SEDIAAN DI DESA MANCASAN BAKI SUKOHARJO

Abstract

Acute Respiratory Infection is one of the disease problems in Indonesia with a fairly high case and attacks many toddlers and children.turmeric and ginger are herbal plants that can be used to overcome the symptoms of ARI because of the chemical compounds in it. Service activities are carried out through counseling with lecture and discussion methods, then continued with assistance in how to make steeping preparations of ginger rhizomes and turmeric as an alternative in relieving symptoms of ARI. The enthusiasm of the counseling participants was quite high as seen from the questions asked during the discussion and question and answer session. The ability of participants to answer pretest and post test questions also increased, indicating an increase in participants' knowledge between before and after counseling. Based on the results obtained, it can be said that the activity can increase participants' knowledge about the danger information of ARI disease also information about alternative medicines in relieving symptoms, as well as how to make preparations and information about maintaining the stability of preparations to the community. Some of the components that have been successfully achieved in the implementation of this activity include: 1) achievement of activity objectives, 2) achievement of planned material targets, 3) implementation of activities as a countermeasure to health problems in the community.
