DISEMINASI HIKAYAT BANJAR BAGI SISWA SMAN BANUA

Abstract

Even though it is hundreds of years old and has become an important piece of literature regarding the origins and culture of the Banjar people, the Banjar Hikayat is still not well known and understood by the people of South Kalimantan. In research on the reception of SMA IT Ukhuwah regarding Hikayat Banjar students in 2021 which is presented in the form of a wayang kreasi video, it can be seen that as an example the people of the city of Banjarmasin, they are not very familiar with and understand the Hikayat Banjar. Therefore this Community Service (PKM) was carried out in order to create a more popular literary source to reintroduce Hikayat Banjar, namely the Hikayat Banjar folklore book targeting elementary and middle school readers. This PKM activity will be held in the South Banjarmasin Book Village in June-August 2022. Participating participants will be given training on writing folklore, then they will make a folklore book based on the Hikayat Banjar. The books were then printed and distributed to schools and the literary community in the city of Banjarmasin.
