Abstract

Knowledge about improving the immune system during Corona pandemic is really important, especially by utilizing the potential of herbs in Jatitaken hamlet. Temulawak was chosen as the base material for making syrup because it can improve the immune system. The activities started from August to September 2021 for PKK women Jatitaken hamlet, Laban village, Mojolaban district, Sukoharjo, Central Java. The material presented was a healthy lifestyle, herbs as an immune enhancer and the manufacture of temulawak syrup. PKK women were given stater pack of the syrup containing temulawak, sugar, brown sugar, lemongrass, and cinnamon so they could make the syrup by themselves at home. Evaluation of activities was carried out using the pretest and postest methods, from the results of the activities carried out, it was found that there was an increase in knowledge and understanding of the material presented based on the average pretest score 78,67 and the average postest score 97,33, which means that this activity has succeeded in providng benefits to the participants.
