Strong economic development is economic development based on local potential, the community realizes its potential and they can develop this potential to become a local advantage. Tanah Laut is one of the centers of agricultural commodities in South Kalimantan, with the potential for banana cultivation. Banana is a plant that has many benefits. Various processed bananas such as flour, fried bananas, banana 'sale', banana nuggets, and others, certainly cannot be separated from the role of a tool that makes them. The tool determines whether processed banana products can be made or not. With small capital and simple tools that can be made at home, everyone can now make various processed banana-based products. Sungai Bakar Village, Bajuin District, Tanah Laut Regency, South Kalimantan Province produces a lot of banana plants as natural resources. This certainly could be a great potential for the community to be developed in the form of a banana-based processed product business. Therefore, a community service activity was carried out with the title "The production of Banana-Based Product Processing Tools" which aims to socialize how to make simple tools that can be assembled at home with cheap materials. The activity held on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, starting from 8 am to 2 pm in the form of socialization using an LCD projector with the material in the form of PPT which is printed out and distributed to participants shortly before the presenters convey the contents of the socialization. The community is enthusiastic about this, they are very interested in being able to make and own this banana-based product processing tool.
